Marien Piekutowski, 97, of Bethlehem, died Saturday, July 25, 2015, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Fountain Hill. Marien was a resident of Country Meadows of Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Edward Piekutowski, who died in 2007. Born in Coplay, she was the daughter of the late Karl and Anne Tracz. She was a 1934 graduate of Whitehall High School. Marien was a member of the former St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, and its Ladies of Charity, and currently a member of Incarnation of Our Lord Parish. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed crossword puzzles. Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by daughters Diann Sauer (Joseph) of Bethlehem, Karen Wilson of Allentown, Paula Gillette (Gary) of Gaithersburg, MD; grandchildren Christopher Sauer of Bethlehem, Cory Sauer of Springfield, VA, Kimberly Kneller (Hans), Erin Dreher (Scott) all of Allentown, Lori Pratt (Michael) of Denver CO; great-grandchildren Mira and Otto Kneller and Jackson Pratt. Along with her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sister Ann Frey.
