Marie Womble Bunch

Mary Marie Womble Bunch of Sheridan, Arkansas was born July 26, 1930 at Carthage, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Lewis Lee Womble and Willie Lee Hatcher Womble. She was a homemaker who dedicated her life to her family. She was a member, and former Sunday School teacher at Marlow Missionary Baptist Church, was a long-time election poll worker, and was a charter member of Cane Creek Volunteer Fire Department. Mrs. Bunch was a past Matron of the Faith Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, and was past Grand Representative for Oklahoma and Arkansas Order of Eastern Star. She was a gifted seamstress for her family and was known for her amazing yeast rolls.
Mrs. Bunch died Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at her home, at the age of 90. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Bunch and a brother, Troy Womble.
Survivors include her son, Eddie Wayne Bunch (Peggy) of Little Rock; daughters, Patricia Ann “P.A.” Snyder (Bob) of Sheridan, Mary Sue Spencer of Sheridan, and Pegi J. Redix (Rick) of Hot Springs Village; brothers, James Womble of Ft. Worth, Texas, Dean Womble of Forney, Texas, and Bobby Womble of Dominican Republic; sisters, Betty Richardson of Hot Springs, and Shirley Oswald of Friendship; grandchildren, Nicolaus McNeill (Rebecca), Matthew Redix (Destiny), Lindsey Bunch (Nick Brown), Lisa Walderns (Dustin), Betsy Spencer, Bobby Spencer; great grandchildren, Madeline McNeill, Clara McNeill, Greta McNeill, Maddison Monday, Landon Monday, Sierra Brown, Noble Brooks. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
