Marie-Therese “Giselle” A. Torris, 89 of Holiday City Berkeley, section of Berkeley Township died on Wednesday August 24, 2011 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Brittany, France, she later lived in Paris through the occupation working in her mother’s shop.
Her family moved to Short Hills NJ in 1946 and she subsequently lived in Union, NJ and Holmdel, NJ before moving to Holiday City Berkeley in 1995. Giselle was very active in many animal charities. She is predeceased by her husband Paul Gibson. She is survived by her son Douglas Gibson and his wife Donna of Englishtown, NJ. Three grandchildren Elyse Hill, Jaime Gibson and Scott Gibson. One great granddaughter Marlena Hill.
