Marie Therese (Terry) Morrissey, 78, formally of Albany, New York and West Rutland, Vermont died at her soné¢Ã©âéâ¢s home in Belen, NM on February 4, 2005. She was born on May 14, 1926 to Ernest and Marie (Vermette) Gilbert in Albany, New York. She was married December 10, 1945 to Thomas J. Morrissey in Albany, NY. While living in the Albany, NY area, she worked at Montgomery Ward at the Mohawk Mall in Schenectady, NY and while living in West Rutland, VT, she and her husband were the owners of Terryé¢Ã©âéâ¢s Corners. She was a member of the RSVP Senior Center in Belen, and was also a past president of VFW Post 1019 in Albany, NY and a member of the VFW Post 648 in Rutland, VT. Her husband and her parents preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, her sons Dennis A. Morrissey of Albany, NY, and Daniel A. Morrissey of Belen; her daughter Mary Ann T. Prevendoski of West Rutland, VT; her sister Alice M. Vigers of Schenectady, NY; her brother George Gilbert of Marcellus, NY; four beautiful grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
