Marie Seger, age 80 of Midland died Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Cascades.
The daughter of the late John and Martha (Hamilton) McLennan was born on January 9, 1935 in Ann Arbor, MI and was raised and educated in Midland, graduating from Midland High School in 1953. On August 21, 1965 she married Lyle Seger at Church of The Holy Family in Midland. Marie graduated from the Midland Hospital School of Nursing in 1963 as a LPN. She worked as a nurse for the Midland Hospital until her retirement thirty five years later. Marie enjoyed knitting, crocheting and was an avid bird lover.
Marie is survived by her husband, Lyle Seger; son Jeffrey (Diane) Seger of Bay City; daughter Tamara Seger of Shepherd; grandchildren Catie Seger, Joslyn Seger, Maria Seger; great granddaughter Tia Seger; and brother Oliver (Marilyn) McLennan.
