The life of a courageous and lovely mother, MARIE ROSE LANGLOIS DUBE (Elifet), here is a
story behind the name; Born in Haiti, in the province of Bainet on 03/15/1936; to parents of Aline Lahens and Bastien Oreste.  My mother grew up and was raised by her grandmother Elories Langlois. She took her last name and was known as her mother, which later explained the love she had for her.
grandchildren.

At her middle age, she was adopted by her aunt name Madame Leopaul Langlois, who sent her to school and trained her to be a businesswoman, she did not have a chance to go far in
school, and that bothered her for the rest of life. When she became a teenager and met with the only love of her life, Louis Maximilien Dube.
After a few years, she married my father on December 18th, 1954, at 18 years old. My father was 31 at this time.  Together, they gave birth to 5 children: Yolette Dube (who passed away at 1 year old); Jean Jimmy Dube; Jones Dube (who passed away at 31-year-old); Jean Geto Dube and Magaline Dube Noel.

When my father left my mom at 29 years old, she remained single and chose not to have another man in her life. She devoted herself to educating us, giving us a chance to be who we
are today and which was her proudest and biggest accomplishment.

Thank you, MOM!

It was not easy for her at all, but with God ‘s help, her conviction, her love, her passion, her courage, her determination she made it extraordinary.
Mom taught us to build our personality, our strength, not to give it up.  Mom always wanted us to stick together.  Love, help, support each other.
My mom helped me to be an adult before being a teenager. When I saw her tireless work of going back and forth, doing her business, cleaning the house, doing laundry and cooking for us at night.  I said, “My God it’s too much for her.”

At the age of 12, I took over some stuff like cleaning, laundry and cooking for my family to give her a break.
The biggest stress for my mom was the loss of my brother, when I left the country in 2001, since I am the only girl besides 2 men; It was tough on her.
I trusted my mom with my (2) sons, Karl and Kevin that she loved so deeply, and my brothers trusted her with their sons Dimitri and Patrice.
But she loved every single one of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and everyone and her friends.

She loved all the people, everyone loved my mom, she was such a sweetheart.
my brothers and I decided to keep her here with me. Since then, we became closer than ever.  Since she was here, she was never hospitalized, the only pain was arthritis and osteoporosis.
For a few months she had a minor dementia.

God gave her a chance to remember everyone without losing her memory, asked my older for money, still cared and remember my brother in Haiti and wanted to see him before she died,
still had a precious love for her family and friends.  My Mom was who she was; Born to Love everyone, have a passion for everyone. She was funny, caring, and polite.  We thank God for this gifted mother. She gave us the opportunity and raise us in a good manner and taught us the spirit of unity, to stay closer to each other no matter what.  My mom, my friend, my adviser, my love left, a few weeks before my birthday.

It’s the gift that Mom and God gave me. Thank you, Mom!
I love you; your children will always love you and will remember you forever.
