Marie Nicole Val A.K.A. (Nicole, Colé) was born on Dec. 5, 1965 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She was the eldest of the 7 children, raised by both her parents and quickly became the taker, the guardian angel for the other siblings at the very young age when both parents moved to the United States. In 1984, she met her future husband Gesner Val at the church revival event at the Evangelical Church of Port-au-Prince, Haiti and seven (7) years later in 1991, they tied the knot and went on to have 2 children. The names of her children are Gemima Val, Gesny Val. In 2006 she moved to the states and rejoined her family. She never displaying anger or impatience, instead, she showed a great dignity and humor. Nicole lived a remarkable life, one that inspired so many friends and family alike greatly.
On March 3rd, 2013 at East Orange General Hospital Nicole had finally got the invitation letter from the almighty God into the heaven. Throughout her life, despite living with a pace maker causes by a heart disease, Nicole never feared, never complained about her physical state. She was always there when you need help and was appreciated by all people around her. She was highly regarded as the peace maker. Her adventurous attitude, her broad range of interests, and her happy demeanor made her a wonderful person to know.
Presently, she’s peacefully resting in God’s hands. Yet, she will be missed dearly, but we will treasure her memory forever.
