Marie Lucille “Mary Lou” Zeoli, 88, a longtime resident of Peekskill, New York passed away peacefully on July 25, 2021, at Wingate Nursing Home in Highland, NY.
Mary Lou was born in Peekskill on July 26, 1932, attended Assumption School, and graduated from Peekskill High School as a proud member of the Class of 1951. After high school, she worked as a clothes designer in Manhattan and was a very skilled seamstress. Mary Lou married George Joseph Zeoli on October 16, 1955; they were happily married 43 years before George’s passing on May 1, 1998.
Mary Lou raised her three sons and then went on to work as a Dental Technician at Leo Zacks Dental Lab for many years.
Mary Lou is survived by her three sons, Thomas Zeoli and his wife Joann of Poughkeepsie, NY; Raymond Zeoli and his wife Kathy of Seal Beach, CA; and Gregory Zeoli and his wife Joanne of Mesa, AZ. Mary Lou also had four grandchildren, Michael, Bryan, Alysha, Jeffrey, and three great-grandchildren, Mera, Freya, and Brayden.
Mary Lou is preceded in death by her husband George Zeoli, her parents, John and Emily (Beeden) Cole, and her brother John Cole.
