Marie Kosarek, 95, of Three Oaks, Michigan, died peacefully Thursday, October 2, 2008 at Riveridge Manor, Niles, Michigan. Marie was born September 7, 1913 in Chicago to Steven and Stella (Mytowski) Mrowczynski.
Her family moved to Michigan, and on April 10, 1937 she married John Kosarek at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Three Oaks. John preceded her in death on January 31, 1997.Like many in Three Oaks, Marie had worked at the Featherbone Factory.
She was a loving wife and mother who cared for her family and home. Marie is survived by sons, Gerald (Betty) Kosarek, Grand Junction, CO and Daniel (Eileen) Kosarek, Niles, MI; grandchildren, Vincent, Terri, Anne Marie, Carrie, Jenny, Colleen, Sara, Cheri, Gabriel, Joy, and Benjamin; and her great grandchildren, Garrett, Kayla, Miranda, Abbie, Johannes, Gabriella, Sergio, Alyssia, Kyle, Joshua, Travis, Tyler, Danielle and Lindsay. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Casey Marsh, Helen Struglinski, and Genevieve Soder.
