On September 18, 2014, Marie K. Murphy, age 95, passed away. Mrs. Murphy was a 70 year resident of Brooklyn, a member of St. Rose of Lime Church, and enjoyed bowling. She was the beloved wife of 51 years to the late Francis J. Murphy, and was the devoted mother of Francis J. Jr., and Barron E. Murphy and mother in law of former A.A. County Councilwoman, Shirley Murphy. Mrs. Murphy was the loving grandmother of Corrinne Shaffer, Sean Murphy and the late Robin Wallace and Dina Wingate. She was also blessed with many great and great-great grandchildren.
