Marie Marcovecchio born November 17, 1928, passed away on June 12, 2022. Marie grew up in Salida, CO but lived most her life in Pueblo, CO. Marie is survived by her children, Mike (Cindy) Marcovecchio, Cynthia (Robert) Nardini, David (Anne) Marcovecchio and Theresa (Michael Mravich) Marcovecchio and son-in-law Mike Rodrigues; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Marie had 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Marcovecchio; daughter, Christina Rodrigues; grandsons Nathan Marcovecchio and Gregory Nardini; her parents, Peter and Bernice Bartolomucci and brothers Peter, Edward and Joseph Bartolo. Marie and Joe loved to dance at the Eagles. She had a green thumb and loved roses. She was always ready to go, she liked to travel and spend time with her large family. She was so stylish and beautiful. Her legacy is the great care she took of her husband of 68+ years and all of her children and grandchildren. She had a work ethic like no other, was strong in her convictions, fearless, tough and stubbornly independent even at the end of her life. Marie worked as a beautician while raising her family and later on became a nurse mainly caring for patients at St. Mary-Corwin hospital.
