Marie-Jeanne Cazaux Trauth
Marie-Jeanne was born on December 25, 1943 and died May 20, 2015. She was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, a city she loved dearly. Marie-Jeanne loved and supported New Orleans theater, dance, music and city restoration. She could not imagine living anywhere else.
Marie-Jeanne was predeceased by her husband, Russell Louis Trauth; her parents, Paul Peter Cazaux and Magdalene Miller Cazaux; her brother, Lance Cazaux and her sister Elaine Cazaux Tramadana.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Margaret Eleanor Trauth and sister Laura Cazaux Pease and Laura’s husband, Raymond Pease. She is also survived by her family of the heart, Jason and Jennie Fonseca and their children, Clay and Lucy, and by Betsy Stoner and her daughters Zoe and Olivia Williams.
