Marie Falkner Owen, age 94, became absent from the body and present with the Lord on July 10, 2016. She joined her husband of 57 years, John William Owen; her father, Baptist minister Earnest Falkner, Sr.; mother, Frankie Rawlins Falkner; grandson, Matthew McMurrey; brother, David Falkner. She is survived by her daughter, Judy McMurrey; son-in-law, Larry McMurrey; grandson, Owen McMurrey; sister, Ellen Falkner; brother, Ernest Falkner, Jr. Special thanks to niece, Jerrie Scogin; sister-in-law, Arlette . Owen was a charter member of the Sovereign Grace Baptist Church and the former organist and Church treasurer.
