Marie Catherine Michelli was born in Brookside, Colorado on November 25, 1927, and died June 16, 2013 in St. Petersburg, Florida. Marie had a long career as a police dispatcher for the Florence Police Department. Additionally, she worked for Master Printers, the Florence Citizen, Holy Cross Abbey, and the Pueblo Army Depot. Marie is survived by her son, Joseph Michelli; grandchildren, Joseph Andrew and Fiona Katherine; sister, Minnie Nichols; niece, Karolyn Barr; nephew, Richard Nichols; and other extended family members. Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the Holt Chapel of the Garden at 806 Macon Avenue in Canon City.
