Entered into rest, at home after a courageous battle of cancer, Oct. 17, 2011, Marie Curcio Carbone, 82 of North Branford; wife of the late Anthony Carbone; loving mother of Elaine (Michael) Halligan of North Branford and Charlene (Phil) Santoemma of Ridgeway, VA; grandmother of David, Nicole, Daniel, Timothy and Andrew Santoemma, and Meagan and Sean Halligan; also survived by 2 great-grandchildren; born Dec. 6, 1928, daughter of the late Joseph Curcio and Nancy Ferrara Zito. Also survived by one brother Joseph (Rae) Curcio, Sr. of New Haven. Prior to Marie’s retirement she worked as a dental secretary and previously was employed at Winchesters.
