Marie B. Hobbs, 98
Marie B. Hobbs (Brown), 98 of Fort Walton Beach, passed away on February 26, at Emerald Coast Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Charles Hobbs.
Marie was born on July 20, 1910 in Flora, IL, to the late John Henry Brown and Bertha Olive (Beare) Brown and was one of 16 brothers and sisters. Marie came to the Fort Walton Beach area in 1989. She is survived by her grandson John H. Hobbs III of Lynchburg, VA, and five great grandchildren John H. Hobbs IV of Greenwich, NY, Charles and Hanna Hobbs of Lynchburg, VA, and Annie and John Polakowski Jr. of Birmingham, MI, as well as a large number of loving nieces and nephews that are going to miss her dearly.
