Marie Antoinette Maurice A.K.A. (JouJou) was born on April 20, 1950 in

Petion-Ville, Haiti to the parentage of Antoine Maurice and Marie Alcindor.

Marie completed her school in Haiti and soon moved to Norwalk, Connecticut in

Marie soon married and had her son Albert Maurice. In 1980, Marie and Albert

moved to New Jersey to better their lives. In 1988, Marie met Joseph Thony

Moise and in 1989 she tied the knot again and went on to have another son

Ronal Moise.

Marie was the most unselfish person who would give help to anyone. It was her

obtained many degrees while in Haiti and spoke Creole, Spanish, French,

Portuguese, Italian and of course English. With these languages she could easily

help people in various difficult situations to obtain their freedom from oppression

and restraint. Marie lived a remarkable life, one that inspired so many friends and

family alike greatly.

On March 15, 2013 at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, Marie had finally got

the invitation letter from the almighty God into the heaven. She was always there

when you needed help and was appreciated by all people around her. She was

highly regarded as the peace maker. Her adventurous attitude, her broad range of

interests, and her happy demeanor made her a wonderful person to know.

Presently, she’s peacefully resting in God’s hands. Yet, she will be missed dearly,

but we will treasure her memory forever. She leaves to cherish her memories:

Husband: Joseph Thony Moise, Children: Albert Maurice and Ronel Moise,

Brothers: Guy Lobo, Bertrand Maurice, Pierre Constant Maurice, Anotoine

Maurice Jr., Fernand Maurice, Ferdinand Maurice.

Sister: Gilbert Maurice, Sister-in Laws: Solange Lobo, Tina Maurice,

Marie Thony, Mme Roger Francois, and a host of sorrowing neices, nephews,

cousins, family and friends.
