Marie Arpaia Amellin, 62, of 675 Woodward Ave., New Haven died suddenly at her home on Dec. 23, 2009. She was the wife of Vincent R. Amellin Jr. Mrs. Amellin was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. Sept. 15, 1947, daughter of the late Gaspar and Helen Tobias Arpaia. Besides her husband, she is survived by a brother, Warren Arpaia of New London County; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.
