Marie Allen Mitchell, age 73, of Roosevelt City, AL, passed away on August 11, 2011. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Roosevelt City for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her wonderful, loving husband, Elias Howard Mitchell. Survivors: daughters, Tonya (Thellus), Gloria (Harold); sons, Howard (Marilyn), Norman (Faye), Ural (Darlene), Cedric, Jerome; sister, Inez Townsend; brother, Henry Allen; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
