Marianne Roberts Whited, age 81, of Birmingham, AL., died on Saturday May 1, 2010. She now rests peacefully in the presence of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus… ” Ephesians 2:6. Preceded her in death were: husband, Major Walter Coy Whited, USAF (ret); parents, James Allen and Mittie Magdalene Huey Roberts; brother James Roberts; sister Dot (Robert) Beall; and sister Margie (M.C.) Fisher. Survivors who mourn, yet celebrate, her passing are: son, Wayne (Becky) Whited, daughter Gale (Mike) Patton; son, Walter (Johnnie) Whited; grandsons Brian Whited, Brandon Whited, and Brett Whited; and sister-in-law, Gloria (James, deceased) Roberts.
