Marianna Radziminski, 88, of Union Pier, Michigan died Wednesday, August 26, 2009. Marianna was born December 10, 1920 in Kempno, Poland to Stefan and Marianna (Kokot) Bzdak and taught school in Germany after World War II. She married Joseph Radziminski in Chicago and in 1979 they moved from Chicago to make their home in Union Pier.
Marianna was artistic, completing many craft projects, needlework wall hangings, and knitting beautiful afghans. She enjoyed spending time with her family and adored her grandchildren. Marianna is survived by her son, John Radziminski of Union Pier and his wife Pearl; grandchildren, Rachel Corcoran and her husband Kevin of Altadena, California and Jordan Radziminski of La Canada, California; sister, Apolina Reszke of Huntley, Illinois; nephews, Ted Reszke; Stan Reszke, Mike Reszke and wife, Alexandra; great nephew, Matthew, and great nieces, Elizabeth and Sarah. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, in 1991 and by her brother, Piotr Bzdak in 2008.
