Mariana Losoya Barrera, age 66, went home to be in eternal glory with the Lord, Tuesday December 3, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was a native of the Santa Rosa-La Feria area born in La Torre, TX to Manuel and Antonia M. Losoya. She was one of a family of fourteen children. Mariana was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend. She was also a hard working lady in the agriculture industry.
She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her children, Benito Barrera Jr. (Alicia Tineo), Marivel Barrera (Juan A. Hinojosa), Marcelino Barrera and Cresencia Barrera, her only granddaughter, Jasmine Hinojosa all of Tomball, TX., Siblings, Ruben Losoya of Houston, TX, Victoria Melchor of El Campo, TX, Elodia Campos of Ft. Worth, TX, Jeanie Mary Martinez of Mercedes, TX, Ofelia Magallon of Portland, OR, Jose Luis Losoya of Santa Rosa, TX, Andrea Montes of Mercedes, TX, Josefina Losoya of Mercedes, TX and Israel Losoya of Mercedes, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Mariana is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, the late Diane Losoya Saldana, Jose “Pepe” Losoya, Irma Rivera and Hermelinda Meyo.
