Marian C. Wilgen, a long-time Ottawa resident, passed away Sunday morning, March 2, 2014 at Pleasant View in Ottawa.
Miss Wilgen was born in Ottawa to Klemens and Emilie (Fricke) Wilgen. She graduated from St. Xavier High School. After a career as an executive secretary for various companies in Chicago, she retired to Ottawa. She was preceded in death by six sisters, Helen, Elsie, And Emily Wilgen, Agnes Sykes, JoAnn McCarthy, and Gertrude Roach.
She is survived by five nieces and nephews; Agnes A. (Dr. Ronald A. Ferguson) Roach of Gurnee, J. Michael (Susan) Roach of Dallas, TX, Linda J. Barbaro of Dubuque, IA, Jacqueline E. Roach of Woodridge, and Maurice W. (Nancy Leson) McCarthy of Edmonds, WA; as well as six great-nieces and nephews, and one great-great niece.
