Marian Ruth Parsons DeLong, 86, of Indianapolis passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018 in Plymouth, Indiana. She was born March 30, 1932, in Indianapolis, to the late David and Mary Gwinn Parsons.
Ruth was married to the late Donald DeLong, prior she was married to the late Joe Gubocki and the late Jack Smitha. She was employed at Indiana Waste Management, working for the City of Indianapolis, retiring in 2003.
Ruth is survived by her children Stephen (Kathy) Smitha, Elizabeth (Charles Robinson) Hinojosa and Patricia Susan Miller; sister Margaret (Coolidge) Powell; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in passing by her parents; her husbands; daughter Helen Marie Atkins and siblings Jay Parsons and Emily McGrew.
