Marian Margaret (Huzzy) Divelbiss was born in Oldham, England, one of 5 children. She served in the Women’s Air Force during WWII where she met F. John Huzzy, a Sergeant in the US Army. They married in England in 1944 and Marian sailed to America aboard the Queen Elizabeth soon after. They settled in Lyons Falls, NY and raised 4 children. They owned and operated the historic Lyons Inn and later on Marian worked and retired as a bank teller. After 38 years of marriage, John passed away and Marian moved to Colorado to be near her daughter, Wendy.
She met and married Donald Divelbiss and she passed away just short of their 30th anniversary. Marian was known and loved for her English sense of humor and quick wit. She was the center of the family and had a special place in her heart for babies. Marian had 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
