MAHIEU, Mrs. Marian Kalamazoo, MI Died Saturday afternoon January 19, 2013. Marian was born August 23, 1917 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Pierce and Blanche Staley Stearns. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was a member of the Westwood United Methodist Church and Charter member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church.
Marian was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward J Mahieu on October 30, 1999; and 2 brothers, Robert and Donald Stearns. She is survived by 2 sons, Edward J Sally Mahieu Jr. and Jack Gayle Mahieu all of Kalamazoo; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Irene Stearns of Kalamazoo; and several nieces and nephews.
