Marian Dullos quietly went home to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ, on Saturday August 25, 2012 at the age of 88, with her family by her side at the Masonic Home of New Jersey in Burlington Township. She is survived by her husband Tony, daughters Darlene Gebely (Joseph) and Lori Forrest (Brian), four grandchildren: Kristina Groce (Andrew), Tony Gebely, Brian Forrest and Amanda Forrest, and her sister Ruth Fleischer (Paul). She was predeceased by her parents, Frieda and Harry and 2 sisters, Margaret and Harriet. Marian was born in Chester, Pennsylvania and graduated from Moorestown High School.
After high school, she worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad in Philadelphia. While working there she met Tony Dullos and they were married in 1951. In 1960 she began working with Tony at the family’s floral business – Stephen Dullos & Son in Burlington. She worked in the flower shop for most of her married life making beautiful corsages and arrangements that delivered happiness to Burlington County area residents for many years. Gardenias and daisies were her favorite flowers. She retired to Leisuretowne in 1996 and enjoyed spending time with her family, and making frequent trips to Atlantic City, Point Pleasant, the Manasquan Inlet and to view the swans on Spring Lake with her husband. Marian was also an airplane pilot and received her pilot’s license in 1946.
