Maria (Kurylo) Wan, of Berlin formerly of New Britain passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Wladyslaw Wan for 28 years. Maria was born in Poland, daughter of the late Julian and Aniela Kurylo. She was a 35 year resident of Berlin and New Britain and a member of Holy Cross Church, New Britain. She is survived by her loving daughters Berndeta Wnuk and her husband Fred of Berlin, Teresa Chudy and her husband Michal of New Britain, her sister-in-law Beata Wan of New Britain, her grandchildren Lucy Frankowski and Tom, Elizabeth Warszawik and Adam, Sylwia, Monika and Jessica Chudy. She also leaves two great-grandchildren Natalia and Alex Warszawik. She was predeceased by her sons Marian and Andrzej Wan and her sister Stefania Cwikla.
