Maria Victoria De La Garza, 82, entered the Lord’s heavenly kingdom on Wednesday morning, January 6, 2016 at Valley Baptist Medical Center. She was born on June 15, 1933 in Poteet, Texas to Felix & Damacia Gomez.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose A. De La Garza on July 11, 2011.
Maria is survived by her loving family to cherish her wonderful memory, children, Mercedes (Luis) Chavez, Diana Maldonado, Primo (Irma) De La Garza, Angel (Sandra) De La Garza, Alma (Rene) Rodriguez, and Cesar De La Garza; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and brother, Pablo Gomez. She is also survived by her beloved ex son-in-law, Pedro Maldonado Jr.
