Maria Petra Solis, 86, of Oxnard, passed away Monday, Jan. 30, 2012.
She was born Sept. 10, 1925, Aguichote, Municipio de Tepetongo, Zacatecas, Mexico to the union of Aniceto Garcia and Juana Quinones and had been a Ventura county resident for 55 years.
Maria was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rafael Solis Jr.
She is survived by her children, Joe (wife, Margaret) and Daniel Solis, Mary Ponce (husband, Jess) and Carmen (husband, Raul) Villarreal; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchild.
