Maria Magdalena Betancourt Gonzalez was a loving & devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She left this world on Friday morning peacefully, April 8, 2022 at the age of 85.
Magdalena was born to Juan & Angelina Betancourt on February 1, 1937 in San Juan, N.L., Mexico. She met her husband, Juan in San Juan, N.L., Mexico where they were married on April 21, 1963 and together they had 4 children. Magdalena was a strong Catholic woman who survived breast cancer at the age of 54. She instilled in her children to pray always, have faith, & love one another. Her hobbies were sewing, gardening, cooking, & baking for her family.
Magdalena is survived by her husband of 58 years, Juan Manuel Gonzalez; two sons, Juan Manuel Gonzalez Jr. (Melissa) & Hector Mario Gonzalez (Irma); two daughters, Gina Alvarez (Tony) & Maria Vinson (David); 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and siblings, Irma Betancourt & Jose Juan Betancourt.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Juan & Angelina Betancourt; sisters, Irene Betancourt & Evangelina Betancourt Martinez.
