Maria Guadalupe Macias,74, longtime Deming resident passed away Friday June 2, 2017 at Mimbres Memorial Nursing home.
She was born August 9, 1942 in El Pueblito, Chihuahua, Mexico to Maria Campos Aranda and Jose de la Luz Carbajal. In April of 1967 she married Rodolfo Macias also, at El Pueblito. In 2003 they moved to Deming from Las Vegas, NV and was a communicant at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed her stay here until she became ill.
Survivors include 2 sons, Rodolfo Macias and wife, Emily, Las Vegas, NV and Lupe Macias and companion, Joanna Hernandez, Scottsdale, AZ and a daughter, Yolanda and husband German Ruiz, Deming; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband and 2 sisters, Cruz Mendoza and Yolanda Munoz.
