Born in Feteira, Faial, and Azores, Portugal she was the daughter of the late Francisco and Margarida (Gomes) Contente. She is survived by her children Fernando Silveira and his fiancée Dana of Exeter RI, Noelia Lemos and her husband Lizuarte of Chula Vista CA, Maria Tavares and her husband Antonio of Rehoboth MA, James Silveira of Bristol; grandchildren David Silveira, David Lemos, Stephen Lemos, Kevin Lemos Marissa Castigliego and great granchilderen Marcia Lemos, Kevin Lemos and Jayden Lemos. She was the sister of Manuel Contente and Teresa Cabral.
