Maria Louise Hanian, 32, passed away Thursday August 19, 2021.
Maria was born on April 15th, 1989, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Tom and Peggy (Deery) Hanian.
For the past 5 years Maria was employed with the United Sates Post office where she held multiple production positions. Our beloved Ria was a cancer survivor and overcame many health challenges in the last few years including kidney reconstruction surgery. After her health issues it became her goal to live the healthiest life she could. In her free time Ria spent hours working out at the gym, walking, or bicycling.
Maria is survived by her parents, Tom and Peggy Hanian of Des Moines; brothers Jim (Heather) Hanian of Urbandale, Tommy (Mariah) Hanian of Ankeny, Nick Hanian of Des Moines, and Chris Hanian of Minneapolis. She was preceded in death by her dearly beloved sister, Rachel; Grandparents, Thomas and Louise Hanian, and Grandfather, Jim Deery.
