Maria Gonzalez, age 89, went home to the Lord’s Kingdom Saturday, July 4, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born October 2, 1930 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. She was the daughter of Ventura Sauceda and Ambrocia Garcia. Maria was a lifelong resident of La Feria and member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
Maria is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Salvador Gonzalez Gonzalez, son, Arturo Gonzalez and siblings, Saturnino Garcia Sauceda, Emeteria Sauceda Garcia, Octaviano Garcia Sauceda, Agapito Sauceda Garcia and Felix Sauceda Garcia.
She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory nine children, Salvador Gonzalez Sauceda (Lucia), Maria De Los Angeles Gonzalez (Javier), daughter in law, Soledad Gonzalez, Maria Estella (Magdaleno Gonzalez, Oscar Gonzalez Sauceda (Alicia), Martha A. Gonzalez Sauceda (Alfredo Gutierrez), Raul Gonzalez (Raquel), Orfelinda Gonzalez Sauceda (Rodolfo De La Rosa), Maria Isabel Gonzalez Sauceda, Rosa E. Borjas (Esteban); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren; three sisters, Natalia Sauceda Garcia, Ebodia Sauceda Garcia, Herlinda Sauceda Garcia, one brother, Pedro Sauceda Garcia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
