Maria Dolores Figueroa, 82, of Jersey City, passed away peacefully on December 17th, 2020, at her home in Jersey City surrounded by her loving family.
Maria was born in Cidra, Puerto Rico. She worked as a custodian for Arvey’s Corporation. She worked as a lunch aide for Sister Pilar Day Care Center, Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, and P.S. 22. She was an active member for Assumption/All Saints Church and the Sacred Heart Club. She taught catechism classes, she would bring communion to the elderly and sick to their homes. She was contacted by friends and church members to pray the rosary (novena) for nine days for family members that passed.
