Our beloved and treasured mother, María de Jesús Carrillo Díaz, age 69, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2021. She was born on January 5, 1952 in Zacatecas, Mexico, a beloved daughter of Refugio Carrillo and Guillermina Díaz. María married Crescencio Escareño in Malpaso, Zacatecas, Mexico.
She was an excellent homemaker, a devoted mother who had the honor of giving birth to and bringing thirteen children into this world. Sadly, she experienced the loss of three of her precious children during her mortal journey, yet she always continued to strive with strength and courage, no matter the battle. His posterity of 33 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren will be forever blessed by his example, dedication, and kindness. María de Jesús was born and raised in the Catholic Church and remained faithful to her faith throughout her life.
Cooking was her passion, also her love language. She was a frank woman who stayed true to her words full of wisdom. He loved his music, especially the songs of Pedro Infante. Dancing was her joy. To his compliment, he always stayed in tune with his boyish spirit, because sharing jokes was his nature. She always taught love by all means to each of her children. In every expression of the word, Maria was a true warrior, always protecting her little ones.
She was a complete woman and, like every other human being, also a flawed human being. She is survived by her husband Crescencio Escareno, her daughter Guillermina Elizabeth Escareno, her son Raúl Escareno (María Isabel), her daughters Martha Elena Palafox (Víctor), Imelda Arellano (Juan), Alicia Escareno, her sons José Guadalupe Escareno, Antonio Escareno (Marlen ), his daughter María Concepción Galindo (Martín), his children Luis Miguel Escareno (Michelle) and Fernando Ángel Escareno (Joseline).
She is preceded in death by her three children María Escareno, Jesús Manuel Escareno and Juan Carlos Escareno, her father Refugio Carrillo and her mother Guillermina Díaz, her sister Consuelo Carrillo, her brother Manuel Carrillo and her son-in-law Tre Xavier Jones.
