Maria Perchtold Baker 23 Feb 1928-12 Dec 2014

Our Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother has gone to a better place.  She was born in Obermenzing, Germany and was a teenager studying Pre Med when WWII ended.  During her life, she married, raised three children, worked for the Army Air Force Exchange system and McCormick Spice Company as a sales representative until her retirement.  Along the way, she and her husband, Air Force Sergeant Byron Baker, lived in Japan, Germany and many States in the U.S., while raising their family.  During the last 12 years of her life, after moving to Sierra Vista to be near her son, she enjoyed painting, looking at the mountains, eating out and taking the occasional trip to the Casinos in Tucson.  She is survived by her children: Susan Nahabedian, Byron (Elisabeth) Baker and Kenneth Baker; grandchildren: Vahagn (Chinna), Armen (Natalya), and Alena Nahabedian, Stephanie (Brian) Mitchell, Cara and Colin Baker, Matthew (Marsha) and Jennifer (Tony) Baker; great grandchildren: Margosha, Garo and Tigran Nahabedian, and Haley and Brooklyn Baker.  We will miss her and keep loving memories.
