On the beautiful day of September 24, 1965 a precious baby girl was born to Windsor and Louis Evans. Her name was Maria Antoinette Evans. She was the baby of five older sisters and two older brothers and was treated like a princess. Maria’s father(Windsor) was a jazz musician which caused him to be out of the home a lot which meant her mother (Louis) was left to raise all her children alone. That didn’t stop Louis from doing the best she could.
The family lived together in North Brentwood Md , where Maria attended Saint Jerome’s Catholic School , which is a private school in Hyattsville Md , from elementary until 8th grade. When it was time for Maria to start High School her older siblings where young adults leaving home. So her and her mother moved to Aldephi Md. Where Maria attended Regina High School. She would end up transferring to High Point High School and there is where she met her high school sweet heart Erik Robinson.
After graduating the young couple moved in together and had three boys, Erik D. Evans , Dominic D. Evans(Dominique) and Aaron D. Robinson. Sadly Maria and Erik would lose Aaron soon after his birth due to SIDS(sudden infant death syndrome). Aaron was born on October 12,1986 and passed on December 19,1986.
It was lead to believe that the stress of Aaron’s passing took a tole on the young couple and the two decided to go their separate ways. Unselfishly, Maria decided to leave her two young boys with their father in hopes that he could give them a better life. Maria would go on to meet and fall in love with Earlie W. Coffield Jr. The couple would have a baby boy and name him after his father Earlie W. Coffield III.
As a young beautiful princess Maria dreamed of finding love and raising children. Its all she ever really wanted. She was lovable, beautiful, funny and ambitious. She made sure she was always pretty with her beautiful lipstick and marvelous earrings. To know her was to love her. She had a smile that would light up a room and a charm that would let you know that everything in the world was okay. Despite great pain and countless falls, Maria Antoinette Evans always chose life and she will be greatly missed.
Maria received her angel wings on March 29, 2018 and leaves to celebrate her life: A loving partner Charisse Monroe; ; Three sons Erik D. Evans (Stephanie); Dominic D.
