Margy Lou Pyles of Canon City, Colorado went to be with her eternal Heavenly Father on September 5, 2021. She was born September 27, 1935, to John and Hattie Hatcher in Oildale, California.
She was sixteen years old when she met the “love of her life,” Charles “Bud” Pyles.
During the Alaskan years, Marge was actively involved in music.
After leaving Alaska, Marge & Bud moved back to California for a period before settling down in Colorado. They lived in Colorado Springs for several years before moving to Canon City in 2001.
Throughout the years, Marge enjoyed traveling.
Marge is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Bud Pyles; daughter, Cindy (Monte) Nelsen of Canon City, Colorado; Steve (Aileen) Pyles of Anchorage, Alaska; and Dennis Pyles of Canon City, Colorado. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Christy (Donnie) Novak of Canon City, Colorado, and Brent (Jordan) Nelsen of Corpus Christi, Texas; and 5 great-grandchildren, Vincent & Aidan Novak and Elliana, Amelia, and Annalise Nelsen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Doc, Lee, and Bob; and 1 sister, Thelma Gregory of Bakersfield, California.
