CHESHIRE, CT – Marguerite T. Enhorning of 22 Quarry Village Road; Stage Island, Chatham, MA and Jonathan’s Landing, Jupiter, FL, died Thursday afternoon after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Dr. William F. Quigley and the widow of George F. Enhorning.
Marguerite was born in Worcester, MA on September 1, 1940. Her parents were Marguerite (Connors) Gabrielian and John Gabrielian, both now deceased, of Worcester, MA and South Harwich, MA. She also had twin brothers, Stephen D. Gabrielian and the late John J. Gabrielian.
Marguerite attended Worcester State Teachers College, where she received an undergraduate degree and a master’s degree in education. She worked teaching in public elementary schools for many years, both in Massachusetts and Connecticut. Later she became the owner and president of Bruce Manufacturing and Molding Co. of Plantsville. An avid and skilled golfer, Marguerite enjoyed golfing at Cape Cod National, Waterbury Country Club and Jonathan’s Landing in Jupiter, Florida. She was a communicant of St.
A loving mother, she leaves a son, David W. Modine and his wife Amy (Rizzotto) Modine of Cheshire, CT; a daughter, Kristin (Modine) Tompkins and her husband Joseph G. Tompkins III, of Telluride, CO; grandchildren, Bradford, Julia, Morgaine, Savannah, and Creek; she also leaves the children and grandchildren of her husband, Dr. Willian F. Quigley; also aunts, uncles, cousin, nieces and nephews.
