Marguerite Rogers Keaton died Tuesday night, March 19, 2013 at the William Childs Hospice Home in Palm Bay, Florida. Marguerite, or “”Marnu”” as she is known to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, would have been 95 years old in July. Marnu, widow of the late W.C. Keaton, Jr., is survived by three children, Tony (Sheila) Keaton, Patsy (Bill) Cross and Marolyn (Craig) Holder; four grandchildren and numerous great grand children, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Born during World War I, raised on depression-era Georgia and South Carolina farms, Marguerite, the youngest girl, in a family of four boys and four girls, exuded the high moral fiber and Christian ethic taught to her by her Mother and Father.
