Marguerite Oat, 94 of Newnan GA passed Sunday June 1, 2014 after a brief illness. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She left us with her warmth and sense of humor and will be dearly missed by her beloved family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Frank Oat, Jr. They raised their family in Fort Washington, PA and retired to Palm City, FL. Marguerite moved to Atlanta, GA in 2007 to be near family, then onto Newnan, GA where she peacefully lived out her last years. Marguerite is survived by her loving son Henry C. Oat and wife Teya Ryan of Atlanta, GA, son Thomas D. Oat and wife Lynette Oat of Peachtree City and Frederick W. Oat of Quakertown, PA. She is survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
