Marguerite “Marge” Nannenga, age 81, of DeMotte, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Cedar Creek Health Campus in Lowell.
Marge was born May 21, 1939, in Chicago, the daughter of John and Margaret (Blum) Tomczak, both deceased. She attended DeMotte public schools and was employed for 20 years at several different furniture stores. Marge married the love of her life, Raymond Nannenga, on March 23, 1956 in DeMotte.
She was a member of the Hebron Christian Church, an excellent housekeeper & decorator, an exceptional cook, and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Marge is survived by her husband of 64 years, Raymond Nannenga of DeMotte, IN; daughters: Terry Lynn Nannenga of Valparaiso, IN; Kathy Hopkins of Mesa, AZ; Beth (Keith) Allen of Wheatfield, IN; grandchildren: Dacia (Luke) Truty, Chad (Melissa) Hopkins, Jason (Vanessa) Hopkins; great-grandchildren: Jolie, Lola, Lincoln, Charlie, Nolan, Emmett; and sister, Muriel (Larry) Gifford of DeMotte.
Marge is preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law, Kim Hopkins and siblings: Charlotte Kolb, John Tomczak, and Lorraine Frantz.
