Marguerite H. Horden, age 91 of Midland died Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Colonial Villa.
The daughter of the late Charles and Jennie (Sayre) Willsie was born in Detroit on January 11, 1925 where she was raised and educated. On September 30, 1950 she married Bernard Horden in Detroit. Marguerite worked for the Dow Corning Corp for a brief period after her marriage. She enjoyed genealogy work, crocheting, reading, being outdoors and was an avid cook and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She and her husband wintered in Clearwater Florida for many years.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Bernard Horden; sons, Steven (Monica) Horden of Sanford, Patrick (Cindy) Horden of Ft. Wayne, IN and Timothy Horden of Midland; grandchildren, Micaela Horden, Angela Stevens, Joshua Briggs; great grandchildren, Kayla & Matthew Briggs and a great great granddaughter, Sophia Turvey; sister, Kathleen Collins of Jacksonville, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
