Marguerite Beaty, 94, of McCordsville, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born March 4, 1916 in Elwood to the late Fred and Irene (Banta) McDonel. Marguerite received her nursing degree from Indiana University and served as the nursing supervisor at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville for 15 years. She was also a member of the McCordsville United Methodist Church’s Women’s Circle and the Fortville Chapter of Business & Professional Women.
She is survived by her son William F. “Bill” Beaty of McCordsville; daughter Jane Ann (Terrence) Costin of Naperville, IL; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in passing by her husband Linden, sons James and David and brother Philip McDonel.
