Margo J. Tucker, age 88, of Geneva, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Seasons Hospice in Naperville.

She was born June 12, 1932, the daughter of Adolf and Margaret (Ader) Almgren.

Margo was bornin Cincinnati and raised in Hamilton, Ohio where she graduated high school and was the head majorette for the band. She then attended Ohio Northern University where she was voted May queen.  She graduated with a teaching degree and taught second grade. 

She then moved to Germany, where her husband was deployed in the US Army, and gave birth to David. They returned to the states and she gave birth to Juliene.  She was a wonderful mother and was active in many school activities.

Margo was a talented stitcher, quilter, and knitter. She loved knitting throws for local charities.  She also loved playing and watching tennis.

She is survived by her children Juliene (Ken) Guffey of Geneva and David (Justine) of Minnesota; grandchildren Daniel and Michael Guffey; and many other dear relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of 48 years Robert D. Tucker who passed away in 2003.

Due to the current health care restrictions, we are limited to 50 guests at a time, standards of occupancy will be upheld.
