Margie Miller Rison, 86, of Oldham County, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021. She dedicated much of her life to taking care of others, both professionally, as a Nurses’ aid and house keeper at The Meadows nursing home and the Kentucky Correctional Psychiatric Center, and in her personal life, where she acted as a mother not only to her own children but to numerous children around the neighborhood. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kelly Louis Rison, her partner John William Greer, father Chester Miller, mother Rhodie West Miller, sister Vivian Miller Woosley; Brothers EJ Miller, Frank Miller, and Mott Miller; daughters Linda Rison and Loral Rison Rodgers, and son Mitchell Rison. She is survived by daughter Donna Rison Martin; sons Danny Rison, Chester Lynn Rison, Troy Rison, and Marvin Rison; 16 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren.
