Mrs. Margie McDonald Williams, 96, died on Friday, August 8, 2014 at The Shannon Gray Rehabilitation and Recovery Center in Jamestown, NC.
Margie was born in Richmond County, NC on October 7, 1917 to Lawrence and Jenny McDonald. Having resided in High Point most of her life, Margie was well known by many people. She was a faithful member of First Emmanuel Baptist Church where she served on the Missionary Circle Board.
Surviving relatives include seven grandchildren, Brenda (late Leroy) Hunter, Linda Roberts, Danny McDonald, Kaytrell (Brian)Yarborough, Lynwood (Diretha) McDonald, Felisa (Kevin) Peguese, and Wanda (Marvin) Bridges all of High Point; fifteen great grandchildren, nineteen great great grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Johnsie McDonald and sister-in-law Lozie McDonald both of High Point; brother, Lacey McDonald of New Jersey; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
