Margie Raynor, (Margie McClaine) 62 of Middletown, CT died peacefully on July 28, 2018. She was born in Clewiston, FL to the late Alpha Campbell and Lewis McClaine. Margie met and fell in love and married Levi Ray Raynor. Margie and Levi were married for 17 years and to this union 2 children were born.
Margie considered everyone she met to be a friend. There was no strangers in Margie’s life.
Margie is survived by her 2 children, JoCosta Raynor, (daughter-in-law Quiana Shannon) East Hartford, CT, and T`Challa Raynor, Coachella, CA; her baby, “TIGER”, Synead Raynor (granddaughter), Savion Purvis (godson), 5 sisters, Celestine Smith, Cassandra Steele, Denise Fordham, Felicia McClaine, and Melinda McClaine and 5 brothers, Minister Lee Copeland McClaine Sr, Lewis McClaine Jr., Eric Barnes, Todd McClaine, and Avis Ebron. Special friends Annette Tyler, Roenettie Holley (Roe, Roe), and Mardenia Purvis.
Margie is predeceased by her mother, Alpha Campbell, father, Lewis McClaine, and Barbara Thigpen (aunt, mother and best friend sister), and a sister, Victoria Shaw.
The Rose Beyond the Wall
